Our Story
Coffee with Community at Its Core
Rubato started with a passion for coffee and a passion for the people in the world of coffee. Our first order of green coffee was bought in-person from a multi-generational family farm in Marcala, Honduras. While visiting the town and the many people involved in the coffee production process, we saw the importance of coffee in this community. We are now seeking out how to invest in our global coffee partners and the work they're doing.

On the other side of this process is another key community: ours. We're originally from Dayton, but careers have brought us out to Aurora, Colorado. No matter where we are, though, we want to be invested in our local community.
We see how coffee brings people together and want to offer individuals, business, churches, and community centers high quality specialty coffee from trusted sources. We also want to be involved in continuing to build our community and are continually looking for more opportunities to do so.
