Marcala is known as the premiere coffee-growing region of Honduras and is home to the Castañeda family. The Castañedas have been in the coffee growing industry for decades, helping Honduran coffee production in their community grow to its global popularity. This is our SECOND year buying directly from Moises Castañeda, a 3rd generation member of his coffee-producing family! Their family properties have been renamed to Finca Maria Dolores in honor of the matriarch of the Castañeda producers.
